Hi everyone,
I have done some overclocking on my intel core i7 7700k and i got to a point in which i have 4,7 ghz with voltage at 1.33. I get around 77 C while stress testing with prime95. However in cinebench it peaks up to 80C nad my biggest problem is, that when I play PUBG the temperature is around 77C and sometimes peaks up to 80C. I think it is too high(or if its not tell me).

Do you have any suggestions, which could help me solve the problem. Maybe some different OC settings.
Thank you.

My specs:
CPU: i7 7700k
cooler: bequiet dark rock 3 pro
mobo: asrock z270 extreme 4
case: phanteks eclipse p400 tempered glass edition

yeah 80c would be a little uncomfortable for me, i'd try reapplying your thermal paste or try out a better paste and see if that gets you any cooler (might bring you back into the mid 70s atleast).

another idea is what i did with my i5 7600k, i replaced the fan on my Cryorig H7 with a Noctua fan (link below). i get about 10c-12c cooler temps with it and its very quiet. the only thing i would do first before trying this idea is make sure the dimensions on the heatsink are wide enough to fit the Noctua fans: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835608051

my last resort on this would ofcourse be either liquid cooling or delidding.
best delid+relid kit around would have to be the Rockit88...

my best advice i could give for looking into water cooling is read the reviews and ratings to make sure it will hold up for the money

yeah lowering your clocks a bit might help out a lot, but if you plan on keeping those clocks then you will have to delid inevitably unless you spend tons on a liquid cooling loop to drop the heat down only another 5-8c

I am currently running at 4.9Ghz at 1.30V with Dark Rock Pro 3 and my average temps are around 60 degrees and spike max at 75. I did not delid the CPU, mine is cooler maybe because it's not i7 or something, but I can say 4.9Ghz at 1.30V with i5-7600k partnered with DRP3 will be a great combination with temperatures below 80 degrees.
