Solution
well.. the overall potential of the G4560 (overall components) is looking a little better. But if it's worth upgrading to a G4560? No.

If you are looking for a cheap upgrade.. then I would suggest;

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 3 1200 3.1GHz Quad-Core Processor ($99.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: ASRock - AB350M Pro4 Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard ($49.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($192.60 @ Newegg Marketplace)
Total: $342.58
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Solution
What is your current CPU? and GPU?

I think the a 3rd-gen i5 or i7 is still valuable in modern gaming unless you move to high-end. Definitely a cheaper option than moving to a new platform. To me ~$300+ on a new platform would only be justified by a $400+ GPU. But Ryzen 3 1200 is not much faster if any at all than 3rd-gen i5.
