I am fitting a dell optiflex mobo into a stock ATX case, The Dell fan set up uses a special connector that does not accept the standard Intel CPU cooling fan connection. The Intel LGA1155 fan has 4 wires (black, yellow, blue, green) , the Dell CPU connector has white, Black, red, white. It is easy to switch the connectors from the Dell fan to the Intel fan, but I do not know the configuration (what are the power connectors, and what are the ones used to monitor speed and adjust fan voltage as controlled by the MoBo?
