Today I got a 4gb gtx 760 and i wanted to try using dsr for games such as portal 2. I use my tv as my monitor which has a native resolution of 1360x768. But when using dsr it ups my tv resolution to 1920x1080 which is "supported" but looks terrible and stretched so its not really usable. i have the latest nvidia drivers. CRU does not detect the 1920x1080 resolution so i cant use that tool. Any help would be great. I would love to use dsr but cant really get a monitor right now so i hope a fix is possible.

on desktop the resolution stays at the native 1360x768 which is fine but if i use dsr in a game my tv bumps the resolution up to 1920x1080 is isnt native and looks bad. i dont use CRU as it doesnt help me it has others

Maybe you are not really setting dsr but just setting the resolution higher? Here's an old article that may help https://techreport.com/review/27102/maxwell-dynamic-super-resolution-explored/2

Personally I tried it on a couple of games when I got my 980 3 years ago and quickly decided it was more hassle that it's worth. Just set everything to max at 1360x768 and crank up the anti-aliasing to 8x or higher, if the game doesn't support that do it from the Nvidia control panel.

The reason I don't like DSR is simple, it messes up both the interface scaling in my games and the mouse sensitivity and personally I don't think it looks all that different and isn't worth the performance hit.

What im doing is the exact same as that article. I dont know why it does what it does for me. even if i dont really end up using it, its still nice to have the option of using dsr, which i do not right now.
