How to get an operating system?

So, I ordered all of the parts for my PC. And I was wandering how do I get an operating system. I'm hoping for windows 7 ultimate, but I don't know how to get it, if you could, please tell me how to get an operating system because I have not put together the PC yet.

1. You get an OS by purchasing a license for it.
2. Your desire for Win 7 Ultimate is misplaced. There is zero reason to look for Ultimate. It gives zero performance benefit over Pro, or even Home.
3. You mostly can't buy a valid Win 7 license anymore.

Win 10 Home or Pro will do you just fine.

Go with win10. Dx12 etc & support ends for Win7 soon, in a couple of years. EA origin similar to Steam for thos that use it relys on os updates to work, those still on Win 7 by then will have problems connecting to EA's service. Not sure if Steam will be impacted also.

Thank you all for the help today, if it wasn't for Tom's Hardware, I would probably still be stuck on which CPU cooler I should get (Thanks Blackbird for the help on that) Also I'm at work probably going to get fired because I'm on this site lol.
