I’m getting Low FPS in minecraft, while having good specs and a good CPU

I’m getting around 300 fps with around 12 mods that are not so big and intensive. I should be getting around 1k fps but my fps didn’t change when I upgraded my gpu and/or my cpu.

Specs:
CPU: Intel Core i7-7700k LGA1151
GPU: Gefore GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5
Mobo: MSI B250M Pro-VD
RAM: Vengeance LPX DDR4 1x8GB 2400MHz

Any quick help would be nice..

Java does have a soft cap on what it can eventually be capable of, minecraft is a semi simple game developed on a basic engine, youll have to live with that.
300 is obviously higher than your refresh rate, call it a day.
