I bought this Strix Z270E Gaming motherboard because i thought (was told/assumed) it had on board WiFi. I thought, why spend 230$ for a new motherboard, and a the best WiFi antenna, when I could buy a 130$ motherboard that I enjoyed with on board WiFi. Fast forward a month, the board comes, I build the computer, everything works EXCEPT the WiFi. For the life of me, I cannot get this WiFi to work. I even thought that maybe this motherboard doesn't have onboard WiFi, and I misread it or bought the wrong motherboard, but I don't think that's it. If possible, I would like some help with this. This is a new computer, no drivers are installed in it, and all it has is windows on a SSD.

windows only has basic and universal drivers, but each mb has its unique drivers for its components to work
I installed the majority of the drivers on the list of the link you sent me (including the one with the WiFi name on it) but the on board WiFi still does not work. I wonder why I needed to install a bluetooth driver when that was already working. What should I do?

The first two settings have options to enable or disable, both are currently disabled. The third option asks for a value or to choose "not present" where it's currently set at. The last option has a value or 3.Medium.
...I don't mean to be rude, but if that was my issue I would have figured that out myself. The problem is that no networks show up in the first place, and it shows that I have no WiFi -- Which is why I belive there is a problem with the onboard WiFi, because it's not receiving it in the first place.
If I could not be connected to the internet on my phone I would not be able to reply to this thread, so yes I can see the network from my phone, and I can also use it.
I have restarted my computer and have even disconnected the power supply from it and re-connected it.
