My last Mobo (ASRock H81M-HDS) I bought came with an installation disk on my . I just bought a new case, and it doesn't have a 5.25 bay, so no optical drive. Do modern motherboards require a disk to operate, or will I have to temporarily hook one up outside the case? Thanks!

Can find your drivers here at Asrock website. http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/H81M-HDS/

Don't really need optical drives really nowadays but they still have their uses like playing dvds or music but not required for pc operation.

The main drivers you'll need is motherboard chipset (INF driver), lan and audio (Realtek) which you can download to an usb stick from any computer to install to the desired pc.
