Hello I'm a bit confused as to why since i upgraded from my 980ti to a 1080ti my friend with a 1060 gets double my fps in Escape from tarkov. In the same spot he's gets 120fps+ and I get around 65fps. Lows around 55fps. Same graphic settings in the game and res.

My pc
4790k oc to 4.6
Ftw3 Evga 1080ti of to 2000mhz memory 5500
1000watt corsair psu play
16gb ram at 1600 mhz
Os is on sad. And so is the games
Mobo Asus saber tooth z97 mark s

Friend pc
7700k.
1060 msi
800watt osu
16gb ram ddr4 at 3200 mhz
Os and game on ssd

I have newest drivers for gpu
Prefer max performance on

If anyone has some advice is love to hear it.

Oh and I did a user benchmark and my pc got 129% for gaming. My friends got 110%. So in user it said mine is better but in Escape from tarkov it's not.

Destiny 2 max everything I get 180 fps.

I play 1080 res on everything . If you guys need more info let me know.

Well, your friend does have a faster CPU and faster RAM. The CPU is the biggest difference, but we're talking 10-20% performance differences, and only in heavily CPU bottlenecked titles. I'm discounting the possibility RAM is being completely filled up and affecting performance; 16GB should be plenty.

So my cpu usage is around 45% and gpu is around 70% max and 50% avg
