Will a ssd make my laptop faster

I've got an old Lenovo E520 with intel pentium B960, 4Gb ram and a 500Gb HDD. I wonder if I can replace the HDD with a ssd to make it faster bacause right now it struggles to play 1080p60fps videos and browsing the web and doing other normal tasks-

SSD will not make games run at higher FPS.
it will make system more responsive, shorten load times and somewhat improve browsing.
probably you will benefit more from enlarging RAM to 8-12GB

I'm not talking about better fps in games. I want my laptop to be responsive and fast when watching youtube and netflix so I can stream 1080p videos and browse the web fast.

The difference between HDD and SSD is night and day. Unbelievably faster than any HDD out right now.
