How to connect Asus GTX760 to Evo labs E-600BR PSU?

I bought a second hand Asus Geforce GTX 760 DirectCU II OC of ebay, it has a 8-pins power connector slot and a 6-pins to 2x molex connectors (3 pins each) adapter which is not the original one that comes with the card I think, anyways my PSU is Evo Labs Pentium P4 E-600BR, it does not have an 8-pins cable, it only have one 6-pins cable. How do I connect this card? do I need a new PSU?

But the PSU provides 600W which should be enough right? is there no other way around this without buying a new PSU?

That psu is lying to you I would be suprised if it would even deliver 300w. It's also just a bad psu and can kill your pc if asked to much from it.

I see, what budget PSU's do you suggest? I have my eyes on this "EVGA 750 GQ" but it's a bit expensive, is there a good quality but cheaper ones?
