Hi, I'm currently in the middle of purchasing some upgrades for my PC (pretty much everything except hard drives, fans & PSU) and I'm having some issues picking a correct motherboard. I already purchased some RAM (Team Group Dark Pro 16GB 8x2 3000mhz - TDPGD416G3000HC15ADC01) and I was looking at the ASRock Z370 Extreme4 for the motherboard (planning on either getting i5 8600k or i7 8700k).

I was using PC Part Picker and the parts didn't raise any flags and said there was no compatibility issues, but I looked on the motherboard page and saw it didn't have 3000mhz RAM listed. I also checked the motherboard memory QVL and my RAM wasn't listed (it did have one that was very close - TDPGD416G3000HC15AQC01). Looking at the QVL there's a bunch of 3000 RAMs listed, even ones from Team Group, so I'm a bit confused on what is the correct info.

I'm okay with building the PC but picking the correct parts I'm absolutely awful so if anyone can give me some reassurance that the RAM will work on this motherboard I'd appreciate it.

Here's the link to the RAM in case you're having any issues finding it:
