Have had problems with audio drivers for a while now (since i had to reinstall windows 7) and can't determine why! Am running dual boot Win 7 & 10, all my usb audio devices (e.g. Audioquest dragonfly black USB DAC & USB DJ controller) work fine on Win 10 but not at all on Win 7. When i connect either of these devices and look in device manager the yellow exclamation point is there against unknown device. I've tried going to MSI to download and reinstall the C-media & asmedia audio drivers as well as the Intel chipset drivers for my mobo (Z97A MSI Gaming 9 ACK Socket LGA1150) but so far nothing has worked.
Based on the fact that the devices work on Win 10 my assumption is that it's an issue with the Windows 7 updates and something has been missed, hoping someone has some ideas on how to fix?
