So, I’ve got a msi a320 mobo with a Ryzen 3 1300x and a 500w psu with a gtx 1050. I don’t have any ram at the moment but, when I power my rig on the Ez Debugger the lights light up next to ram AND cpu. So I was wondering if this usually happens if there is no ram.

Testing machine with no RAM makes no sense at all, unless you know something is not working and you try to find out what. Each motherboard will react to such incomplete build in its own way. But overall, CPU LED can be expected to lite with no ram installed, because ram controller is inside CPU, so the motherboard does not know if it gets ram malfunction caused by ram or by CPU.
