So before we get into this I should probs say that this is my first pc build the parts I have are
Case- Vivo V06
Mobo- MSI B350M Pro-VDH
CPU- AMD Ryzen 3 1200
GPU- Zotac GTX 1060 Mini 3GB
PSU- EVGA 500 B1
Ram- Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 RAM
HDD- WD Blue 1TB HDD

Alright, so when I hit the power button everything turns on and has power (at least as far as I can tell) but it doesn't connect to my monitor so the first thing I did was I tried a different monitor which didn't work so then I went to the troubleshoot list here.- http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261145-31-perform-steps-posting-post-boot-video-problems
When none of these worked I decided to sleep on it and maybe id figure it out the next day. When I woke up I realized I forgot to format the HDD cause I'm stingy and took it from an older pc I have. I didn't really how to do this effectively so I did a few google searches and I found that I could just hit the reset button In windows settings. (Windows 10) I did that and it still didn't work and now im baffled as to whats wrong. I can show pictures if needed.
