Ip address generation

Solution
not sure what you mean.
usually the DHCP server assigns/generates the IP addresses so you do not have to generate them. you can set the scope of the addresses but as for generating them that happens in the router or modem.

Solution
If you have used all available addresses for a particular subnet mask you would need to use a different mask to allow more addresses. Normally at home you use a 255.255.255.0 (/24) which gives you 254 available addresses, if your equipment will allow it you could use 255.255.254.0 (/23) which allows for 512 IP addresses.
