Hi,

My specs are:
MB: GIGABYTE GA-MA770-UD3
CPU: AMD Pxenom II x6 1075T
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7850

I had 4 GB (2x2) Kingston Hyperx (KHX8500D2BK2/4G) DDR2, and I just upgraded with 4 GB (2x2) Kingston (KVR800D2N6/2G). Both types shows 800mhz capable in the specs, but in BIOS it shows 667 mhz on AUTO settings. Is it possible for me to put it to 800 mhz in MANUAL, in BIOS, and not to change any other value, voltage timings etc., and if I do so should I expect any problems ?

Thanks in advance.

Solution
best thing would have been to get the same PC-8500 sticks -> 1066MHz, like your HyperX sticks support.

You got just 800MHz sticks, so both kits should run manually adjusted in BIOS at 800MHz Cl6 with 1.8Volt

Ok, thanks. So basically there is no problem in just changing the speed in MANUAL to 800 mhz in BIOS, without changing voltage or any other parameters?
