Is WD Black HDD actually worth paying the extra premium?

Not considering the extended warranty, is WD Black really fast enough to pay the extra premium as compared to WD Blue for example?

I need a new 4 TB drive to compensate my ever growing steam library (recently i have to delete a game whenever i want to download/install new one and my internet speed is not top of the line). Considering my MOST important/played games goes to Samsung 850 evo 1 TB is it really worth paying extra to get a 4TB black drive? Sure it might have a little bit better 4k random read/write but how much? Its never going to be anywhere close to ssd, maybe it have 10% faster then say a WD blue drive but its still going to be extremely slow compared to an ssd. The purpose for buying HDD is due to its higher capacity. I can't really afford buying 2x 2 TB ssd's at this moment.

Here in my country the price goes like this:
WD Blue 4 TB (5400 RPM): $140
WD Black 4 TB (7200 RPM): $230

So its not just a small difference but a big $90. I am ok paying this extra 60% cost premium over Blue if its actually that much faster.

Suggestions?

Depends on the person really. If you're someone who wants the best performing and most reliable PC no matter the cost, the WD Black is probably for you. For anyone else, the WD Blue is already great.
