I need help choosing my new Cpu

Currently, I have a core i3 6100 with a gtx 1050ti and I want to upgrade my CPU to an i5 7600k or a ryzen 1600. I don't know what to buy. If I buy an i5 7600k i wouldn't need to buy a new Motherboard the only thing I would need is a new cooler. But if I got a ryzen 1600 I would need to buy a new motherboard but it has better performance. What do you guys think I should get

Dont expect soo much boost in performance if you get the Ryzen over the i5-7600K
i recommend you to go for the i5-7600K that will increase your gaming performance and will save the money for the MOtherboard too
and which motherboard you have?

What the 1600 will cost you along with the board, the 7700k/7700 will cost you the same, and give you better performance in gaming and near similar performance in non gaming.
I think you should get the 7700k. You can run it with the stock cooler for a while, if you are not OCing. And you dont need to change the board either.
