Just upgraded from the R7 260X 1GB to the GTX 1060 6GB but there is worse performance using the 1060 than the 260X.
With 1060 I'm getting roughly 30fps in GTA5 on lowest settings and the same with Dark Souls 3 on lowest. When I was using the 260X I was at least getting 45fps on GTA5, DS3 being on medium settings at 60fps. I used DDU to clear the Radeon software and installed the latest drivers for the 1060 yesterday.
Specs:
i5 4400
8GB HyperX Fury DDR3
ASUS GTX 1060 6GB Turbo
Samsung 850 Pro 512GB
Corsair CS450M
Could it be the PSU being too low wattage or CPU bottlenecking GPU?
