So I just ended setting up my new PC and I have a problem with the RAM and the Motherboard.
First of all, I have an Asus prime b350 plus, Ryzen 5 1600, Windows 10 64 bits and two sticks of G skills Ripjaws V 3200Mhz(2x8 - total of 16gb).
When I first turned on the computer, the BIOS only detected one stick. So I took the other and I set it up again and now, both the BIOS and Windows detect both sticks correctly.
The problem is that the BIOS says that the total memory is only of 8000 MB and it should be of 16000 MB. On the other hand Windows says that I have 16GB but it is only using 8 GB.
It seems like the BIOS saved the initial stick when I first turned on the PC and now it doesn't update the total memory to the one that it should be (16GB). But I don't really know what's happening as both, the BIOS and Windows detect both sticks. I already updated the BIOS to the last version but stills the same.
Maybe I should reset the BIOS or something but I don't know how to do it and I dont want to delete the whole system or something like that.
Sorry If this seems like a stupid question or something but I am new to this .
