Looking for a gaming cpu that can run csgo and LoL at smooth fps

Solution
CS:GO and LoL have pretty low requirements. Really depends what you classify as "smooth" FPS - and the resolution you want to play at.

"Cheapest" and "last 4-5 years" don't generally go together, but with those two titles specifically it should be (somewhat) achievable.

If your wanting cheap (based on assumption, I don't know your budget) I would go with something like a ryzen 1600, it will last a a few years, and based on amd's previous platform, with the Fx 6000+ series, they will last. I have a 6300 and it still preforms decent as of right now nad its been 5 years, so I would go with a 1600 or a 1700, both of which are somewhat cheap, as for graphics card lasting 5 years is a little harder to choose, I see the 1050 ti lasting another 2 years for gaming about 30 fps, and the 1060 only following that by 3-4, you can get a 1060 for as cheap as $200, So i would go with a ryzen 1600, gtx 1060, 8 gb of something like corsair vengeance, you can always upgrade ram later on when you get more money, you can get a cheap b350 board if you don't plan on overclocking
