Hi,
I need to change my laptop and need one since my college is going fo be started.

Can anyone suggest between dell i5567-7291GRY (i7, 7500u, 16gb RAM) vs hp omen 15t(i7, 7700HQ, 8gb RAM (I'll upgrade the RAM later)?

I want a faster laptop and satisfactory service. My adherent concerns are battery life and heating.

The i7 7700hq will be much faster. Especially if you plan on upgrading the ram. The 7700 has more cores, threads, higher base clock, higher turbo. The 7500u is a mobile low power consumption cpu designed for small form factors typically and throttles more in gaming in my experience.

In that case should I consider Dell inspiron 15 5000series gaming( i7-6700HQ 6th gen, 2.6GHz, 4GB NVIDIA GTX 960M, 8GB) or stick with hp omen 15t(i7-7700HQ, 7th gen, 2.8GHz, NVIDIA GTX 1050 (2Gb GDDR5 dedicated)?

Another question, shall I buy 12gb RAM, or primarily buy 8gb then extend to 16gb?
