Recently bought a GTX 1080 and when I installed it correctly, the HDMI isn't giving any input to my monitor. I have no input on my motherboard so there isn't any way to use my computer to fix things in BIOS.

I've tried using a different cord, plugging into different devices.

LG LED 24 inch LED.
i7 5820k 3.3ghz 6 core
EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 8GB DDR5
X99 motherboard, 16 GB DDR4 RAM
600W PS
1TB HDD(SSD soon)

The GPU seems to be the issue because the monitor won't find the signal from it.

Do you have another cable and/or another monitor you could test with?

If a video card has bad HDMI ports that video card should be repaired or exchanged if possible. You have established that it is broken; only question is how broken. If you must ignore this, use the displayport over the DVI port.

No, I meant it worked just fine before I had installed new items. I probably fried my mobo. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Since the GTX 970 and 1080 do not post it's not a gpu problem, it's probably my motherboard. Other people with my motherboard are having the same issue I have. I have an x99 extreme3 motherboard and there is a red LED light to indicate BIOS. Computer won't post for them either.
