Motherboard is a z77 extreme 4, swapped out a gtx 770 for a ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 8GB. Now the pc beeps 4 times real fast then shuts down and does it again, I took out the 1070 and just tried to start the pc without and does the same. Pc ran fine with the 770

Solution
Try reseating your RAM. You probably knocked one loose.

Try clearing your CMOS. Usually you unplug from power, remove the motherboard battery, wait ten seconds, put the battery back in and plug back in to power. In that order. Don't plug in the power before placing the battery in. Check your manual if it requires using a CLR CMOS jumper. In which case the jumper is used after removing the battery the put back in its normal position before putting the battery back in.

Reseting the ram worked! But now I'm not getting any picture from the video card, switched to the on board gpu out of the mother board snd I get picture through that. I thought since both cards were nvidia wouldn't be a issue driver wise?
