Hello guys

I am kind of late with this but I finally decided to upgrade to an SSD drive.
I am planning to buy a 512 GB SSD. Currently I am using a 1TB HDD but my budget won't allow a 1TB SSD. As of right now I am using 600GB, I can easily tone it down to 400 but I won't be completely comfortable using only my SSD.

That's why I would like to use my 500GB SSD as my primary drive and keep my 1TB HDD only for programs I don't use that often. Now I am completely clueless as of how these two would work together, if that's even possible? Do I just install all programs I use often (OS, steam, video, ...) on my SSD and then put some pictures and stuff I don't watch very often on my HDD ?

Will my HDD hinder my SSD in starting up the games that are on my SSD or won't that affect my speed at all ?

Is there an SSD you guys would say is the best to use ?

All help regarding this topic would be appreciated.

Thanks !

Yes, you've got it right. To1 Windows the SSD is just another drive. You could load Windows and frequently used programs on the SSD and the big games, rarely used stuff and data on your hard disk
