Sorry if this is in the wrong section lol. Just built a new pc (I am new at it) and I’m having problems getting it to work properly. What I mean by this is that my pc boots up, loads past the Mobo logo screen, and then originally asked for a boot device. I went to the bios and set it to only boot from the store bought USB flash drive with Windows 10 on it. It then proceeds to ask whether I want 64 or 32bit, I select 64bit and it starts to show the black screen with the “Loading Files” on the bottom normally. It gets to loading the 2nd bar and then shows me a screen with my Mobo name and the small windows 10 spinning circle below it in the center and then the screen just turns black and does nothing. I’ve read a few threads but have no idea where to even start with it. Another added note is that even though I get the display and can access bios, etc, I hear no post beep on startup. I have looked and haven’t seen anyone with this similar problem. Thanks in advance.

Hardware is:

Evga 650w G2 power supply
Asus Gtx 1060 graphics card
I5 Intel 7600k cpu
Gigabyte z270p D3 Mobo
16 GB (8x2) ddr4 Ripjaw RAM
Western Digital 1TB HDD

*edit* - while in the Gigabyte bios, the cpu is showing the temp and speed, so Idk if that confirms that it’s not a cpu issue.

So you’re thinking perhaps a corrupted Flash drive? That was one of my suspected issues, but I’ve used it once on another PC and it worked like a charm so that’s why that was a back thought.

You do have a motherboard speaker installed? Need to ask ...
Which usb ports are you using for installing? If not having tried test with the 2.0 ports under the lan port (with the black inside).

I haven’t tried actually taking out the Graphics card, but I did try running it off the integrated and same result. I know the GfX itself actually works, I swapped back into my old pc and it’s good.

I’ve done UEFI only, I don’t recall if I did Legacy or not. Will try when I’m home along with the other suggestion of downloading the OS onto a new usb flash.

Turned out to be the Windows 10 Flash drive was corrupted/fried. Downloaded the Creation Tool Windows 10 onto a flash and booted up instantly. Thank you both for the help I appreciate it.
