Hello all,

according to ASRock homepage the AppShop utility f.e. does not run on Windows 10, I installed it anyways. I autolaunches, but only works properly every once in a while. Anyone got a solution for this issue?

Also the ASRRGBLED App only works half way. F.e. if I want to set speed on wave-effect nothing happens. Have to go to Bios for that.

I appreciate your time reading this, thx in advance!

I do not think it is that simple. I have seen other threads here similiar to mine, ASRock interns replied that not all utilities not listed as supported by Windows 10 do not work at all on Windows 10. In fact some do with the help of a little fix. Which I was hoping to get by posting my first thread here at tom`s hardware.

Of course, if You know a tool that goes with ASRock boards and offers control on RGB, please let me know.

You seem to be repeating what i said, the ASRock interns told them any utility not listed as supported by Windows 10, may still work more or less, but not completely. If a simple hack was found to get the utility working completely, then the utility could be added to the supported list.

One thing i'm not clear about, you say the ASRock AURA RGB LED app only works half way, you try to set the speed in wave-effect but nothing happens. This utility is software shipped with your motherboard, so it should work fully. Have you contacted ASRock Support about this problem to see if they have an explanation as to why this software controller is not working properly?

I downloaded APPShop here http://, as you can see Windows 10 isn`t even in the list of supported OS at all. I found that strange, that`s why I ignored it and installed the app anyways. I assumed all apps coming with an app that isn`t supported by my OS won`t run properly, I downloaded AURA RGB anyways via APPShop, (it hasn`t been shipped with the board.) That`s why I didn`t wonder when it was not working properly and that`s why I didn`t think it would make sense to write a ticket to ASRock. Instead I found it more meaningful to try my luck here.

Anyways, meanwhile I went back to ASRock homepage and went a different way this time, one most more experienced people would go first. Searched for my board, checked Downloads and chose my OS. It`s all there, different versions tho.In the end I know that actually all the apps I want to use are officially supported by Windows 10. I guess now it`s time to write a ticket to their support since the apps do not work properly at all.

Thanks for your input.
