Adapter for GTX 1050 Ti

Hello, i bought an Palit GTX 1050 Ti StormX and becouse my monitor is old, in dont have DVI input. I bought a adapter (https://www.ebay.de/itm/Adapter-DVI-D-24-1-Stecker-zu-VGA-Buchse-Monitoradapter-TFT-PC-Digital-zu-Analog/201597354437?epid=2030740769&hash=item2ef02381c5:g:u1MAAOSw-QZZ2Rdb) and when I try to run my pc with this new graphic card it shows "black screen" so i thought it's problem with this adapter will that one work for this GPU: (https://www.ebay.de/itm/DVI-D-24-1-Digital-auf-zu-Analog-VGA-Konverter-Adapter-Monitor-Beamer-TV/401424840034?hash=item5d76c8f562:g:pTgAAOSw4rRZ5FmS) ???

My German is horrible, but according to the translate program on my phone it should say "aktiv" somewhere on the page. And his link doesn't. The one that SR linked does claim to be active.

Looks aren't everything. It needs to be an active one.
