My friend bought some equipment for testing and gave me this for a few days. Toshiba 1tb Enterprise SSD THNSN8960PCSE and a 32gb SINGLE stick DDR4-2400 RDIMM from Micron (Crucial).
My question is - are those compatible with regular desktop computer? As in if i just plug in those into a regular motherboard from intel or install windows using this hardware? I do realise that this equipment are mainly used for servers and is an overkill by a large margin but i just wanted to know if those are going to be fine if i use those on my regular PC for work or gaming?
I have an i7-3770k Windows 7 professional and i work mainly in visual effects business but i am not so good with computer parts. I mainly used 4x4gb of regular ddr3 ram and regular HDD's from WD.
