This is my first time setting up a home network and I don't know what I'm even doing.

The parts I'm going to get is-

1)ISP-->Fixed wireless internet plan

2)ISP provided Modem

3)Edgerouter X-SFP (Because even at high load it could maintain good ping in games)

4)Ubiquiti Networks UniFi AP (For wireless connectivity)

The part which confuse me is should I get a switch or use router ports? The router have 5 ports and that's all I need.

Port0 (For internet)
Port1 (My desktop PC)
Port2 (Another pc)
Port3 (Ps4)
Port4 (Access point)

I've search a lot and it's seems setting up router so that it could distribute internet over all ports is extremely difficult.

I've watched video of a YouTuber named "Battlefieldnonsense" setting up his Edgerouter lite with a Switch. It seems easier if I use a switch (Probably! I don't know!!) but what I need is only 5 ports. He needed more than that.

Seriously, I don't know what am I doing right now and I could be wrong about everything I wrote (Especially about ports). Please help me!

Since I'm using my phone right now, I cannot reply. There's no reply button.

My ISP provide 10-18 mbps speed. Anyone know any good alternative to Edgerouter then? Router that manage low ping even when it's in heavy load?
