When my laptop ran out of battery I immediately plugged the charger but it isn’t charging. Whenever i tried turning on the laptop the battery sign underneath will light/blink fast but it won’t turn on. Heeeelp

Solution

Yes it should work without the battery. Try holding in the power button for 30 seconds without the battery or wall power, see if it turns on after that. If that also does not work, you would need to take it apart to remove the CMOS battery from the motherboard and do the same power button procedure. Then try turning it on wall power without the CMOS battery in the system. If that works, plug in the CMOS battery and try again.

I tried removing the battery then plugged in the adaptor but still, it won’t work. (The laptop should have turned on right?)
