How to transfer large amounts of data from ssd to hdd?

I have a 1tb hardrive and a 240gb ssd in my laptop now most of my data is on the ssd like drivers, program files and other not very interesting data, i wanted to install some of my games to my ssd but it didnt have enough space so i was wondering if there was any way to transfer all that data safely into my hardrive? Thanks
Is this a reliable way to do this?
