Hi guys,

My CPU has suddenly started to get super hot. Pinned instantly at 100 degrees on anything intensive, for example cinebench. I have a Corsair aio cooler.
I think it may be the cooler, but I am not too sure.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

what AIO cooler? yes problem is with cooling of CPU you can try change thermal paste before buying a new cooler if he just now start rising temps too high after some time ...if you buying new AIO i recommend you to go with EVGA CLC

I have the H100i GTX and I have changed the thermal paste today whilst trying to troubleshoot the issue.
Corsair link does say that my pump is running at 3000 rpm ( on performance mode )

Something weird just happened. I went into BIOS to make sure that all of my fan setting were okay. I saw my CPU temp slowly creep up from 36 to about 70, I booted into windows and my cooler temp was 40, and started to make its way up to 50. From there it started to cool quite quickly. I have never seen my cooler temp above 35 degrees ever before.

I'm not sure. I checked the mounting for the cooler and it is okay. The thermal paste was also applied well.

Another thing I have noticed however. The pipe coming away from my CPU is really hot and the one going towards the CPU isn't warm at all.
