A quality 300W PSU is enough. Of course there is more to power than the 1050. Helps to see the entire patient instead of a pair of disconnected eyeballs. Kinda ew you know? One could spend $19.99 on a cheap 450W and have it fail within a month. Helps to offer the make and model of the PSU and not just a generic no-name.

Will this be the only card you will ever install? What if you want to upgrade to the 1070 one day or some other card? Do you want to have to buy another PSU then in order to upgrade or maybe buy a 500W or better card? Prepare for the future or take care of today?
