SLI or just wait for Volta

I already own one GTX 1080 founders card, I'm able to get another for 499, is it worth buying another 1080 for 4k or should I just wait for Volta and stay with a single 1080 and 1440p.

I have 2 gtx 980ti they are great but Im waiting for the Volta for my next Super upgrade. In my opinion I think you should wait too. They say;One Great card is better than 2 good cards because of the flaws of SLI
