Hi. I'm new here. I've been using Shuttle Barebones systems for about 10 years but they've fallen behind on specs and features so I'm going to build my own system for the first time in a very long time.
I've settled on the Asus Z370G motherboard with an Intel 8770K CPU and I have a question about RAM speeds. The specs for the Z370G say that it supports up to DDR4000. Is that with default settings or are overclocking or voltage changes needed? I want to get the fastest RAM I can take advantage of but I'm not an overclocker. If the DD4000 requires overclocking, what's the maximum speed memory the system supports natively?
Thanks in advance.
