i have 4gb ddr2 ram(2X2) and i want to upgrade it to 6gb(2X4) and i have an asus p5kpl-am se motherboard and an intel pentium dual core 2.7ghz processor...can i upgrade the ram?
thanks for helping...
have bought an Amd Radeon 7670 4gb ddr5 but in other post, people say that that do not exist....but this graphic card is only 512mb or 1024mb.
You should have 64-bit OS to get all of your RAM utilized on Memory and GPU (if more than 4GB including RAM+Gpu memory)
Though your mobo has limit up to 4GB as per the ASUS, you could still try with DDR2 4GB+4GB (8GB) with 64-bit OS
I think at the time of this mobo release there were no more than single 2GB DDR2 sticks may be that was the reason why mobo specs say it could support max 4GB (2+2).
Final word is, for optimized utilization of hardware (memory and GPU memory) you should have 64-bit os at the first place
i have bought a graphic card an ATI AMD Radeon 7670 4GB DDR5 but on other post, people say that it doesn't exist....but and i enter the radeon 7670 4gb ddr5 and see picture,i see that i exist....is this truth that i have buy a wrong graphic card?

You can run GPU-Z tool to get the detailed info about your Graphics card. But I recommend to test on 64-bit os platform
i know but i had buy it yesterday on ebay saying ati amd radeon 7670 4gb ddr5!!!but i have seen pictures on google images ati radeon 7670 with 4gb ddr5!and i'm running a 64bit os
Then you'll have to wait and see. Check it with GPU-Z, when it arrives.
Chances of it having 4GB of vram are highly unlikely.
Standard specs of AMD Radeon 7670 vram are:

yes i'm good with you.It is a very weak graphic card but i will not play newest game with it.....but i just asure me that it is 4gb ddr5 or not(and you can see other people take screen shot of that graphic card) (you can see on google image ...just tap ati amd radeon 7670 4gb ddr5 and you will see)

You cant use 8 GB. And it'll crash it if you try or just wont boot if you install 8 GB. Or wont recognise the extra 4 GB
