Hi,

I shucked 8TB WD red drive from the easystore external drive. The mounting holes on the drive are on alternate location (they are 3" apart as against normal 1.75"). Please refer to the document https://support.wdc.com/knowledgebase/answer.aspx?ID=9915&lang=en&lang=en section 4.1.1 Alternate screw positions. Mine is as per figure 3. My case can only support 1.75" apart holes (figure 2). Is there any adapter plate I can use which would let me mount the drive in my case.

Thanks for the help...

How about using side screw mounting holes? Since those remain unchanged. I have all my 3.5" drives mounted by using side mounting holes.

Though, two out of four bottom screw mounting holes remain unchanged and you can use those to secure your drive, just like this guy did it in this video with the very same drive (seen at 2:49),

While using only 2x screws to secure the drive isn't ideal, keep in mind that 50% of something is better than 100% of nothing.
