Just like the title says, static noise can be heard whenever i tried to use my headset's microphone.
So for some context, I have had a problem with my PC before this happened.
A few months ago we had a power outage that (I think) broke my video card so I had to RMA it.
After it returned, I've tried to plug it in and it still had a problem ( they said my card was replaced ).
For a few days my card would randomly work until now where it's just unusable.
The reason I'm telling this is because maybe the problem is related to my headset. Maybe the problem is power related or maybe the motherboard?
I will be testing my components and peripherals on my friend's PC next week since he is currently unavailable today so maybe you guys can help me until then.
