Hello every one,
I bought an i5 7600k earlier this year before the zen and 8th generation Intel cpu's came out. Now I'm freaking out. Everyone is saying that quad core cpu's are dead and no good for gaming any more. I cant change my cpu now. (budget issues).
I basically play my games on 4k - 1440p at 60hz. Currently İ'm olayın AC Origins on 4k with medium settings and getting average 45-60 fps. I only do gaming on this pc.
My question is, how long will the i5 7600k last when nowadays game developers will optimize the games to more efficiently use more cores. I don't want to change my cpu for atleast 3 years...
My system:
I5 7600k
GeForce gtx 1070 8gb
16gb ddr4 2666mhz
Ps: don't look at my name lol.
