I Have two laptops in mind both of the laptops are good but. I don't know what to choose. The Acer Predator Helios 300 (GTX 1060) is good but the price tag is not it cost around ($1475) cheapest while the other laptop is the ASUS GL502VS (GTX 1070) with a 60hz ips g-sync panel not the 120hz, This one cost around ($1775) and yah i'll be using this laptop for college work.

SPECS for both:
Acer Helios 300 ($1475)

I7-7700hq
GTX 1060 6gb
16GB RAM
1TB+256gb ssd
windows10

ASUS GL502VS ($1775)

I7-7700hq
GTX 1070 8GB
16GB RAM
1TB+256GB ssd
Windows 10

Weight not an issue with me.
I'll be using the laptops hopefully for 4 years max.
BTW, I live in an country where laptops are very expensive.

Go for the ASUS laptop as the 1070 will get you further. Your GPU is utilized in programs like Blender and in video games. The extra vram might be useful in large Blender models. IMO, it's kinda obvious that you'll want the 1070 over the 1060 6GB. Trust me, it'll be worthwhile to pay the extra $300.
