I got my package in earlier with my 2 Tb Seagate barracuda. so i unplugged my old 250 GB and installed it in its place. i got onto my computer and i could not find it in "this PC" so i closed it and opened it again. when i did so i noticed the drive "E" (i assume this new drive) with a blue question mark on it. this confused me so i restarted and opened my BIOS only to find it in there. after seeing this i went to device manager and saw it there too. device manager re-assured me that the drives 2 Tb was being recognized. i don't know why i cant write or read anything to it. all help is much appreciated!

Have a go at this guide and see if you can get your new drive operational. Your new drive needs to be formatted since it's brand new devoid of any partitions.
