This is my first post on tom's Hardware so bare with me please. I bought a Dell Optiplex 990 MT for $199, with a core i7-2600 @3.40GHz. I was planning to buy a GTX 970 Windforce G1 4gb for $155 and cut a little off the harddrive cage to fit the graphics card in place but I noticed a problem where the sata cable were gonna get get in the way of the graphics card when I buy it. my best idea so far was to buy the 90 degree sata cables and put the sata cables on the motherboard with the 90 degree sata head on it, but I'm still worried that it still might get in the way. if anyone out there with the same computer has solved the same problem that would be helpful!

Specs:
CPU: i7-2600 (3.40GHz)
Ram: 8GB's DDR3 1333MHz
GPU: i believe Intergrated Intel HD graphics
PSU: typical 265W psu
Storage: Seagate 1Tb 7200RPH HDD

A long-ish card will definitely be a problem with the SATA cables. Yes, rt angle connectors should slove the problem if you get ones that are low-profile. But be sure you look for the correct connector pattern to match the SATA headers and their orientation. Example
Note the difference in the L shape. That is what you will need to look for in relation to which way your headers are angled.
