Hi,

I have a fairly old PC by today's standards and I was looking to see if I could upgrade it somewhat for gaming without paying a whole lot of money. Seriously just looking to maybe upgrade the video card and memory. Any suggestions? Here are the specs:

CPU: Intel i5-3570k
RAM: 8GB GSKILL Ripjaws
Video Card: GTX 550 ti

You could go for a GTX 1050 non Ti, you can find them for around 100-110 if you can stretch that far.

Another option would be a GT 1030 for 75$ but that won't be a massive upgrade, you're better off saving a few pennies and getting a 1050 or possibly even a 1050 Ti instead.

If you have a good power supply, I'd suggest just getting a new graphics card.

If not, then please invest some money into a power supply and a graphics card.

The RAM should be fine, however I'd recommend looking into a SSD if you don't have one already, as it breathes new life into even the most powerful computers compared to a Hard drive.
