I am updating my pc...7 years old but I have been putting in upgrades over the years. I am after a better performance and something that is quiet and looks cool.

current specs are:
16gig- 4x4gb ripjaw
motherboard:
cpu:i5 760@2.80ghz 4 cores Intel(R) 5 Series/3400
graphics card: nvidea GT220
Atheros AR922X Wireless Network Adapter
ssd: 840 evo 250gb
wdc 2tb
currently it is an ok system...but makes a huge noise/ hate the case(some crap black case)
I will be adding in a webcam into my new build.
I also have my modem directly connected to my pc.
I will be buying a new monitor aswell...I currently have samsung 4k 28inch connected via hdmi and an old asus connected via that big white cable :) with lots of pins...i replace that for a samsung 32inch quad or anotehr 4k type monitor...so i will need an extra hdmi spot aswell on my pc..it currently has 1 hdmi spot.
PLEASE HELP

u can absolutely use ur power supply, hdd &ssd. no if u r to buy a new gen cpu then both ram & mobo must be purchased. u can also use ur gpu, but i would not reccommend that to u s urs is very old and outdated & wont match ur new specs....also tell me about ur power supply(so that i can tell if it is usable or not). also tell me where do u live(country) so that i can give u link to pcpartpicker(a website) which will have a list of components for ur possible upgrades....
700-800$ is good for budget...???

I live in Australia...MSY is the cheapest for parts here...unless maybe ebay.
http://cdn.msy.com.au/Parts/PARTS.pdf
http://www.msy.com.au

Ram...can i not use any of my ram? i have 4x4gb ripjaws
im sure it will cost me more than 700-800....
i7-7800X is $509 aud which is like $387 usd
my power supply should be fine...think i replaced that 3 years ago
should i get more ssd? or ...probably fine...not a big deal right i can always just add another 256gb ssd

hey...!!!!just wanna say..x299 platform is way too expensive for gaming itn will cost u around 2500$. if u want all over similar performance you can buy a ryzen or even the new 8th gen i7 processor (assuming u will only game on the pc...this will save u a lot of money & if money is not an issue then it is a whole new matter)

this is the link for i7-7800x build - https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/khushwant/saved/Lk33FT this is the link for r7 1700 build - https://au.pcpartpicker.com/user/khushwant/saved/#view=pZdvVn

all these builds are suggestive and you can replace anything u want....also i have included a motherboard without wifi coz u already own one wifi card but i would suggest that you should buy a mobo with onboard wifi aas ur current wifi adapter is old and slow. after upgrading to a new ac wifi mobo u will definitely note a difference(i know that coz i feel the difference too)
i my opinion u should buy the ryzen build coz amd has said that they will support same motherboard till the year 2020,this means that u can upgrade ur cpu anytime u want just by swapping the old cpu with a newer and latest cpu. this feature is not available when u buy i7 7800x or i7 8700k as they both are incompatible with previous generation motherboards and most likely newer cpus will but incompatible with z370 motherboards also.
as for ur monitor reqiuremnts here is a list of all 4k &qhd monitors with g-sync/freesync - https://au.pcpartpicker.com/products/monitor/#xcx=0&r=384002160,256001440&sort=price&A=1,2
u will also need a displayport cable to use that 144hz refresh rate.i can purchased online or a local retailer(40$ max)
P.S. i have not included a wifi capable motherboard as they are very costly but if money is not an issue u can buy motherboards with wifi onboard.

for ssd u should go for crucial mx 300(m.2 version)525gb or straight upto 250gb samsung 960 evo. also i have checked prices in the links u provided and changed the price in the build links accordingly..... also if ur psu is anything less than 550-600w then u should change ur psu. give me model name of ur psu so that i can seee if it is capable of handling a gtx 1080ti(as a 1080ti is must for gaming at 4k or a 1070 ti for 1440p/qhd )
