Hi All! :)

New build.

Aorus Z370 Gaming 7
i7 8700k
G.SKILL F4-4133C19D-16GTZ (it's on the QVL)
WD Black NVMe 512gb

System seems to be running fine, but I have Q-code 66 showing on the mobo all the time. "CPE DXE Initialization Started"

Can anyone please assist with any suggestions to help diagnose?

Solution
Candan, Same board (Z370 Gaming 7) here and just assembled everything few days back. Seeing 66 now specifically when the computer wakes from sleep. I am thinking that this started happening after upgrading BIOS to F5h but cannot positively confirm. Could you tell me where did you get the information that it is not an error code ?

regards,
George

Hi,

I'm using DDR4_1 and DDR4_2
I am using the latest F5e Bios
No bent or broken pins on the mobo.

Just noticed. My memory modules are G.SKILL F4-4133C19D-16GTZKW but on the QVL they have just G.SKILL F4-4133C19D-16GTZA not KW, but the same timing 19-21-21-41. This should make zero difference though right?

As a side, the BIOS loads the XMP 2.0 profile no problem and shows the frequency as 4133Mhz

I had same issue (showing 66 in MB LED panel) in Gigabyte z390. I searched it and found most of talking about turning off 'fast boot' option in Windows 10.
Instead of turning off fast boot, I entered the BIOS and turned on 'Fast Boot' in bios setting.

And it was fixed (now showing AO in LED panel)!

Hope it might help you people who have this problem!
That's why I just replied here.
