Does Ryzen 3-1300X work with 8GB Single Channel DDR4 2400mhz?

Hi! I want to buy a Ryzen 3-1300X but I'm worried that it won't work with my RAM (Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB Single DDR4 2400) First, many people recommend to use dual channel instead of single channel when using a ryzen processor. Second, many people also recommend to use 3000mhz ram, bt I only have 2400mhz. That's why I'm hesitating to buy a ryzen 3. So does it work with my RAM?

GPU: GTX 1050

It can, yes.

The Infinity Fabric of Ryzen chips benefit heavily from faster DDR4 speeds - and there's usually a decent benefit from dual-channel (2x4GB) vs a single module.

BUT, that doesn't mean it won't "work"..... just not as optimal as it could be.
