I'm Confused which RAM kit should i buy for Ryzen 3 1300x processor for decent gaming! Should i go for DDR4 2400MHz like majority of the people? Or should i go for higher 3000MHz+ like some people suggest and why?
supports plenty 3200 there, buy G.Skill ram if you want 3200, most likely to run 3200 compared to other brands if ram model is not included in the QVL list.
You need to either XMP or manually set DOCP in BIOS to make ram run 3000+
3000+ MHz is recommended for maximum performance. The reason is because Ryzen's "infinity fabric" that interconnects the dies works very well with high speed RAM.
If your budget is dictating your choice, 2400MHz is not a bad option. Just make sure you pick a kit on your motherboard's QVL and you should be good to go.
What do you mean by compromise? Is he motherboard too expensive, or you mean the motherboard does not support 3000+? Well it supports for the right ram.
from a ryzen system user i would go with the 3200 since all board maker support ram the same way also try to get ram with samsung b-die chipset at cas 14 .

Thanks mate...i thought mobo would support 3000Mhz out of the box, but no i dont wanna xmp it or set it manually. I'll go for 2666Mhz since its the max supported by CPU also and affordable. One last doubt.. wil it effect much if I'm buying 2666Mhz for gaming? What Problems could i possibly face?
Alright. 2666Mhz doesn't make that much difference according to that video n said its runs all the games butter smooth. I'll go for its n falls Within my budget too.
Now..which mobo should i go for? gigabyte Gaming 3 or Asus b350 prime plus? This is my first build.
