Hello,

I have had my system for about 4 years now and last year I splashed out and bought a new GPU. (As the title suggests :p) I bought a GTX 1050Ti and it has worked fine until a month ago and it just stopped outputting the display after it got past the BIOS. I found out that was a driver issue with Windows and fixed it by installing the drivers again in safe mode.

Again everything was Hunky Dorry then last week it just stopped outputting full stop to the display. Didn't see my mobo's splash screen or any beeping noises, anything. After a bit of troubleshooting I came up with the following observations:

* The display would output to my mobo graphics and not my GPU (Yes, my BIOS is set to output through PCIe).

* I have ruled out it being OS related as my OS does load up just not output though my GPU.

* It's not the cables or the monitor have checked all these and swapped them and still the same result.

* It's not the PCIeX16 slot as my older R7 240 works when I swap them out.

* The fact that the R7 works over PCIe leads me to believe that its not BIOS related as it is still picking up cards and yes, I have restored my fail-safe and optimal settings for my BIOS and no joy.

Twice now I have got it working since this started happening. However only until I turn off my PC and then it starts all over again and I can't get it going. The fact that the 1050Ti has worked twice now just out of the blue is strange as if it was hardware like that you would expect a complete failure not for it to kinda work every now and again.

The PSU is a possibility unfortunately it's the middle of term for Uni's and the most of my friends are at Universities in different cities and don't come home often or are from different cities and brought laptops so getting another PC to test the card on is an impossibility till late December.

Wondering if anyone has had a similar experience and has a solution for it or a suggestion for something I haven't tried.

Yes, It's definitely not CPU as my old card I can get onto my OS no problem and when my GTX 1050Ti is in it outputs via Mobo graphics.

Nope, the only way I have to test it is to wait or I have a broken Two Molex connectors to one 6 pin connector but two of the wires have fallen off so I would need to resolder the connections which I am trying now.
